One of our friends shared a great story from his childhood with us. He grew up in eastern Turkey, where they get more snow than Istanbul. He described to us how they would take snow and put flavored syrup on top... a snowcone! We said we made them from ice & usually only ate them in the summer :)

Unfortunately Lynn has been sick the past two days, although she's feeling quite a bit better now!
Spring has sprung! March has brought warmer weather, and the last couple of days have been sunny. There is a place by the train station where we got to catch the springtime smell of freshly mown grass. These are some shots Dan took with his phone, better pictures to come later.
